It’s 2007 in Fresno, Texas. Rafael is in the county jail after being arrested for graffiti. He’s a good kid. It’s just graffiti. So you can’t blame Rafael for the events that unfolded after his arrest. He’s not responsible for the sting operation, Pflophouse’s new music recording tape, Officer Williams and her misleading suspicions, the metoplast tubes, the FBI, the rich kids with nothing to lose, Mateo, Larry the Pig, all the knives, the local aspiring TV news anchor, the plutonium deal gone wrong, or anyone who might or might not die. None of this is Rafael’s fault, but it’s his problem.
