In 1989, Romania is on the brink of revolution, and six lives intersect, amidst protests and personal struggles that lead to the explosion of Ceausescu and the collapse of the communist regime.
It presents 4 different stories in the last days of the Ceausescu regime
The director gracefully navigates through the material and reveals a multitude of social mechanisms, fears and motives.
This is a film about how little ones can navigate the turbulent waters of history, so to speak, without losing hope and a sense of humor
Although there are signs of living in an absurd political regime, steeped in the fear of State Security and everyone trying not to make the slightest mistake and to look good in the eyes of their superiors, there is still kindness, emotion and empathy among the people.
